At Zuri Zanzibar, the wellbeing and safety of our guests as well as Zuri team is a top priority.
We are closely monitoring the World Health Organization’s statements regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and following all recommended guidelines:
- The frequency of the public areas cleaning has been increased (including lobbies, door handles, public bathrooms), including specific areas in guest rooms (bathrooms, door handles)
- Hand sanitizers have been implemented in each outlet and public areas throughout the resort
- Essential information is communicated in the staff areas in both English and Swahili
- The resort management and supervision team is receiving ongoing personal trainings and enhanced operating procedures.
We are also waiving our standard cancellation policy for all guests with bookings until 30th April 2020, who are affected by the cancelled flights, government restrictions such as closed borders or quarantine. The arrival date change is possible within 13 months from the original booking date, subject to availability. Alternatively, a full re-imbursement is available.
Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third-party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies.
If you are experiencing any other specific concern, please do not hesitate to contact our team directly, we care for you and your worries and we are here to assist you.
With kind regards
Petr Kratochvil, General Manager
